Marbella had already been a popular destination for Scandinavian holidaymakers when the lawyer and entreprenør Einar Askvig founded Vogt Law Firm in 1999. He noticed a demand for a Norwegian law firm that specialised in property purchases in Spain, and decided to fill the gap in the market with his more than 20 year-long experience in law and business.
As the demand grew rapidly, so did the company success, and after two busy years both the team of consultants and the administration expanded. We moved into new offices on the outskirts of Marbella in 2001, and hired our first Norwegian and Spanish lawyers.
Over the years we have expanded our competence areas and our services following the movements of the property market and our clients´growth. From simply focusing on property purchases, we are now able to help our clients within property law, inheritance law, tax law, housing law, corporate law and maritime law. We also collaborate with two Scandinavian banks and partner well with newly founded companies and property investors.
Our clients come from various countries, though 99 percent of them are Norwegians wishing to start a property adventure along the Sun Coast. Our vision of being a professional, proactive and hands-on partner for our clients has only grown stronger.
Christine Sollie Jensen and José Luis Rojas Vazquez became partners in Vogt Law Firm in 2016, and they have owned the firm since 2019.
They share the same values and visions for the company´s future.
Norwegian Christine Sollie Jensen moved to Spain when a job opportunity in the Spanish property market presented itself in 2003. She moved to Marbella, and her career started with case management in another international law firm. From there she gained wider experience in property law in Notarius Publicus.
She continued her career in Vogt Law Firm in 2005, and has greatly impacted the development and growth of the company over the past 15 years. Today, Christine holds the position as CEO and partner, while taking care of some of the firm´s biggest clients.

The Spanish counterpart of the duo is José Luis Rojas Vazquez, who joined the Vogt family in 2014. Christine and José Luis worked together at Notarius Publicus, and has broad experience within property law. He was recruited as a senior lawyer with expertise within Spanish law.
José Luis studied law and business economics in Madrid, and had experience from the official Notarius Publicus.sector in Madrid and Costa Del Sol before moving on to another law firm in Marbella.
A big part of our business lies within property purchases and property investments. For that reason we work closely with established banks in the Nordics, which allows us to guarantee a safe management of finances and international payment transactions.

The Spanish Norwegian Chamber of Commerce is a private and independent organisation, without profit motive. The basic purpose is to look after the commercial, economic and cultural relations between Norway and Spain, through for example offering support to members.
